Summer Series: Getting to know Gracie Clapp-Taylor

After finishing last season’s North American Cup season ranked third, Gracie Clapp-Taylor is spending the offseason in Lake Placid training at the Olympic Training Center. The former National Team slider is continuing her comeback — last year was her first back on ice after taking 2015-2016 off to recover from hip surgery. Before her injury, Clapp-Taylor also won two consecutive USA Skeleton National Push Championships.

Summer Series: Getting to know Lauren Gibbs

In her three years as a push athlete, Lauren Gibbs has made the national team three times, has a World Championship bronze medal and has pushed four different pilots to eight World Cup medals. She recently took third place at the USA Bobsled National Push Championships — the first step to making the Olympic team for push athletes — last month.

Originally from Denver, Pa., skeleton national team athlete Savannah Graybill is coming off a season that saw her make her second World Championship appearance while winning three medals on the Intercontinental Cup tour. A six-year national team member, Graybill is gearing up for a run at the 2018 Olympic Team by training in Lake Placid, N.Y. at the Olympic Training Center for the summer.

USABS announces additional summer combine in Maryland

USA Bobsled National Push Championships to begin Thursday
