PARK CITY, Utah (Nov. 17, 2017)- Jamie Greubel Poser (Newtown, Pa.) and Lauren Gibbs (Los Angeles, Calif.) were victorious in Park City’s women’s bobsled World Cup tonight to kick off the second weekend of racing. Elana Meyers Taylor (Douglasville, Ga.) and Lolo Jones (Des Moines, Iowa) added to the medal haul with a bronze medal performance. At just 23-years-old, Codie Bascue (Whitehall, N.Y.) and his crew of Nate Weber (Pueblo West, Colo.), Carlo Valdes (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Sam McGuffie (Cypress, Texas) led Team USA in the four-man bobsled race with a seventh place finish in a tightly contested race.

Further changes announced to Friday's World Cup race schedule

PARK CITY, Utah (Nov. 17, 2017)- After a week of warm weather, Park City was blanketed in sleet and snow this morning leading to the jury’s decision to reschedule this morning’s women’s skeleton World Cup race for tomorrow. The four-man bobsled and women’s bobsled competitions for today are currently still on schedule for 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. MST, respectively.

North American Cup skeleton athletes rally for eight medals in Calgary

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (Nov. 14, 2017)- The Intercontinental Cup (ICC), European Cup (EC) and North American Cup (NAC) skeleton circuits were all in action this past weekend as Team USA managed to collect eight medals, all of which came from the NAC athletes in Calgary, Canada. Veronica Day (Vienna, Va.) led the medal haul with by winning both of the women’s races, while Austin Florian (Southington, Conn.) and Kelly Curtis (Princeton, N.J.) collected two silvers apiece. Andrew Blaser (Meridian, Idaho) rounded out Team USA’s podium results with two bronzes.

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2017)- Matt Antoine (Prairie du Chien, Wisc.) took eighth place in this morning’s season opening men’s skeleton World Cup race to lead Team USA on home ice in Lake Placid. John Daly (Smithtown, N.Y.) finished 17th while Greg West (Springfield, Mo.) posted a 19th place result.

(Nov. 9, 2017)- Elana Meyers Taylor (Douglasville, Ga.) and Lauren Gibbs (Los Angeles, Calif.) shattered the start record en route to a silver medal finish in today’s women’s bobsled World Cup in Lake Placid. Jamie Greubel Poser (Newtown, Pa.) and Aja Evans (Chicago, Ill.) narrowly missed bronze, finishing just 0.01 seconds from the medals in fourth.
