2018 U21 IJF JUNIOR EUROPEAN TOUR TEAM SELECTION TO BE COMPLETED MARCH 4, 2018
After completion of the 2018 Youth National Championships on March 4, 2018, the IJF Junior (U21) GOLD medalist in each division will be invited to represent USA Judo on the 2018 U21 IJF Junior European Tour Team. The team will also include two male and two female wild cards. The wild card members will be determined by the two male and two female players with the most National roster points as of May 4, 2018, who are not number one in their respective division. These two players cannot be in the same division.
A total of 10 male and 10 female athletes will represent USA Judo on this prestigious tour. In the event that one or more of the highest ranked individuals decline, then the selection sequence will move down the roster until the spot can be filled. The Fab Five (top 5 athletes, male or female, that have the most overall points on the national ranking roster as of March 4, 2018) athletes will be fully funded.
