This is the time of the year when all the excitement, hard work, and for some the disappointment comes to an end. National Champions are celebrating their success and everyone else is making plans for next year.

A big part of those plans should be evaluating the past successes and failures of the past year and formulating a plan to move forward and make sure the process gets better and not worse! If we can create a snapshot to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the past – we have a much better chance of improving the process and giving us the best chance for future success.

I can guarantee you that nothing stays the same – it either gets better or it gets worse! Maintaining success or improving failure is something that every good organization must evaluate after each performance to have the best chance of finding success. Great lessons can be learned from both success and failure if we take the time to evaluate.
