The Titans of Murfreesboro, Tenn. claimed top prize on Sunday morning in Men’s Class D with a 13-3 five-inning run-rule win over Galindo of Orange County, Calif.  Coming into the final on the winner’s side, the Titans came out strong and never looked back. 

They put ten runs on the board in the first two innings thanks to nine players on the Titans rosters recording at least hit a piece.  Series MVP was Titans David Hoffman who finished the weekend hitting .609 (14 –for-23) with 20 RBI.

“This was a great ride out here and this was my first time playing in this tournament,” said Hoffman.  “This is a well ran tournament and being the champions means so much to this team. We had a couple guys that could not make it so it is great that we put together a team effort.”

The Titans finished the weekend at 5-1 totaling 87 runs scored.
