2019 National Indoor Tournament

Qualification Standards

In order to qualify to participate in the U-16 or U-19 Girls 2019 National Indoor Tournament (NIT), teams must participate in one of the 2019 USA Field Hockey National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers (NITQ). To view a full list of Qualifier tournaments, click here. Results from any other indoor tournament or event will not be considered or accepted as grounds for qualification to the National Indoor Tournament.

There are a total of 18 National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers being hosted in each age division for the U-16 and U-19 Girls Divisions only. For each NITQ, 8 teams (those placing in 8th place or better) will receive an invitation to the National Indoor Tournament for the respective age division for which that NITQ is being held. All Qualifiers, regardless of the number of participating teams, will qualify 8 teams to the respective NIT. A maximum of 16 teams will participate in any National Indoor Qualifier tournament.

If your club team has registered to participate in the 2019 National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers, your team must achieve a finishing placement of 8th place or better at your respective NITQ in the age division for which you are attempting to qualify. If your team finishes in 8th place or better at your respective NITQ, you will be invited to participate in the 2019 NIT for your respective age division by USA Field Hockey.
