About NIF
Set for its inaugural year, following the cancellation of the event in 2021, the 2022 National Indoor Festival (NIF), presented by Team IP, will take place Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 20 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va. This event will be offered to U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls, U-19 Girls, U-19 Boys, Women’s Adult, Co-Ed Adult competitive and recreational divisions. The NIF has been modeled after the National Hockey Festival, where different age divisions have the opportunity to gather over a weekend in the same location to enjoy and play the sport.
This state-of-the-art facility, owned by The City of Virginia Beach and managed by Eastern Sports Management, has hosted a diverse roster of sporting events and tournaments since it opened in November 2020. Located across the street from the Virginia Beach Convention Center, it is steps away from local shops, restaurants and attractions, including the beautiful boardwalk and beaches of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
