2022 Talent ID Visually Impaired Guide Camp
This High-Performance Development Camp is looking for strong and experienced triathletes to help guide visually impaired paratriathletes as they race toward National Team and Paralympic qualification.
Details Regarding Camp
• Guides will sleep, eat, and train at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (at no cost).
• Up to $400 in reimbursement will be provided for guides to get to and from Colorado Springs, CO (mileage in your own car or airplane ticket cost).
• World class coaches will be leading all sessions.
• This camp will be a total of 8 days -- three days just guides, and five days working with VI athletes.
•Sessions include:
• Swim/Bike/Run mechanics and workouts
• Communication
• Educational presentations about training load/schedule, and the intricacies of World Triathlon racing
• The focus of this camp is skill development and not necessarily training load
