Nov. 11 - 16, 2022USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, will host its Annual Council Meeting in person at the Shreveport Convention Center (400 Caddo St, Shreveport, LA 71101) from November 10-16, 2022.

The USA Softball National Council is comprised of over 300 voting members from all aspects of the sport. The National Council, which consists of USA Softball Commissioners, Commissioner Emeritus, Executive Director Emeritus, Council Member Emeritus, Regional Player Representatives, At-Large Player Representatives, Junior Olympic Commissioners, Regional Umpire-In-Chiefs, Allied Members, Elite Athlete Reps, and Past Presidents, are charged with making decisions on legislative changes, rule changes and is responsible for awarding National Championships to host cities across the country.

All changes to the USA Softball Code, Procedural Manual and/or Playing rules are made through a legislative process. The first step to enact code legislation is for a member of the USA Softball Council to submit proposed legislation to amend the USA Softball Code, Procedural Manual and/or Playing Rules. All code and playing rule amendments are then voted on by the USA Softball Council during the meeting.
TRADESHOW
The USA Softball Annual trade show is scheduled for Monday, November 14 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Shreveport-Bossier Convention Center Exhibit Halls. Check-in for exhibitors will be from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on November 14. For questions on the trade show, please contact Raegan Rogers (rrogers@usasoftball.com) or by calling (405) 425-3419.
Additionally, there are many opportunities for sponsorships for this year’s trade show and for the annual meeting as a whole. Sponsorships at the USA Softball Annual Meeting allow you to connect with our key decision makers. This is your chance to present your product or city to your target market. NATIONAL SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

The annual National Softball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 5 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center and will honor a group of eleven inductees including Brett Helmer (Slow Pitch Player), Christan Dowling (Slow Pitch Player), Rusty Bumgardner (Slow Pitch Player), Cat Osterman (Fast Pitch Player), Debbie Doom (Fast Pitch Player), George Nokes (Fast Pitch Player), Jeff Peck (Fast Pitch Player), Steve Shortland (Manager/Coach), Jeff Hansen (Umpire), Mike De Leo (Meritorious Service) and Al Savala (Sponsor).
