WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE JUDO MEMORY?
My favorite judo memory to date is winning my first match at the 2016 Olympics. There’s no feeling like winning on that stage.

WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO OR WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL AND WHY?
My father is my role model. Not only did he introduce me to this sport, but he also stood by my side and supported me in every way possible along the way. He taught me one of the most important lessons in life which is to strive to achieve your goals by any means necessary.

WHAT IS THE IMPACT JUDO HAS HAD ON YOUR LIFE?
Judo means a lot to me. This sport has allowed me to travel the world, form relationships with people I wouldn’t have met otherwise, and most importantly judo has taught me to be humble in victory or defeat. There have been many times where I’ve lost a controversial match and wanted to make a scene, but judo teaches respect and that also applies to everyday life experiences off of the mat.
