I feel excited to fight in the worlds for the 8th time! There is nothing like fighting in the biggest judo tournament in the world and the chance to achieve all you have worked for.

I always watch my competition fight. Whether it be at a tournament or on YouTube, I am always studying them.

HAVE ANY OF THE JUNIOR TEAM ATHLETES ASKED YOU FOR ANY ADVICE? WHAT DID YOU TELL THEM?
Some of the younger players ask me how I handle being nervous before a competition. I tell them that belief in themselves and their training around should help them gain confidence to win.
