"I'm humbled and honored to have been selected to lead the team at the 2017 World Judo championships in Budapest, Hungary. We have a very diverse team led by Olympians Marti Malloy, Angelica Delgado, Nick Delpopolo and Colton Brown. I think they play a great role being leaders to what is an otherwise a young team. I am looking forward to seeing them lead the way and I am confident that any of them can come home with a medal. I'm excited and hoping for some breakout performances from the rest of the team which is full of potential and I believe can accomplish BIG things if they come in with confidence, the right draw or if they build momentum during the day."
